but really, you can't go wrong

and it's ok to lick the cardboard tray when your waffle's gone- you wouldn't be the first

Please- just imagine walking out to your car at five in the morning and finding this on your windshield:

 

I honestly thought my car was going to blow up when I turned on the engine. 

a short reprieve

For four days last week I got to turn off my cell phone, lay aside my jobs, check out of the world, throw on the Tevas and go here- the greatest place on earth- 

Lake Powell. 

the boy who lived

For many of us, last week marked the end of an era.

Kind of the unofficial end of our childhood. 

And a very official end to any more midnight premiers for this old girl.

I read my first Harry Potter book in 1999.
12 years, seven books, and eight movies later I still love it.

It was an honor growing up with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and the rest of the DA.

Thank you, JK Rowling, for such a grand adventure.
