I've been away.

Wow. It's funny how life can snatch you up and carry you away- then one morning you wake up and realize you can't run the half marathon you signed up for because your legs are broken, you haven't put sheets on your bed in two weeks, your pile of laundry in the corner has reached critical max point, you haven't blogged in weeks, and you have little reminder notes written in pen all over your hand and arm like jail tattoos and you can't remember what any of them mean. But you're happy.   

OK- enough about me and my excuses. I'm just sorry I took so long to tell you about these two little treasures I have discovered lately that have been a part of making my life so good.

As you know, I am quite a sucker for all things summer and sunshine, so naturally I was completely sold when I stumbled across this pair:

First- meet Sundrop. It is a product of Dr. Pepper and IMHO (in my humble opinion) infinitely better than Mountain Dew- its Pepsi lookalike. And I'll be honest- it's probably because of the name, and probably because of this commercial:

 

It had me out late one night searching to the ends of the earth for it and dragging my poor friend Mark along with me. 

Next- Bath and Body Works never fails you- kindly welcome one of their newer scents: Forever Sunshine. Isn't that adorable? I was all over this stuff in about a half a second of walking into the store. I drench myself in it all day every day now. 

To Dr. Pepper and Bath and Body I say- well played. My hat goes off to you. You have a customer for life.
